CREATING AN ORIGINAL:
When a photograph is taken, you have little control over the process. The snapshot is taken, end of story. When commissioning a painting or portrait, you are able to participate in the creative process, playing an active role in the various stages of developing the final product, a procedure that cannot take place with photography. Fine art has proven to be a strong investment over history, even through times of economic uncertainty. An original oil painting will last a lifetime and become a family heirloome or investment only to appreciate. Commissioning a work of art is a collaborative effort between patron and artist. Throughout the process, your input and feedback are used to guide the painting, to ultimately deliver a portrait that will be cherished. |
